A Review of Psi Activity in the DNA

Abstract This paper presents a general summary of psi
experiments conducted with the DNA in the latter decades of
the 20th Century particularly at the HeartMath Institute (HMI)
in Boulder Creek, CA, by Dr. Glen Rein, relating to the
ability of “healers” to affect the conformation of the DNA
molecule simply by concentrating their mental and
emotional powers of the brain and heart. In particular it was
found that the intentional states of healers could change the
molecular structure of water which in turn could alter the
conformation of the DNA. Further to these findings about the
relationship between water and DNA, this paper discusses a
journal article by a team led by 2008 Nobel Prize for
Medicine recipient Dr. Luc Montagnier, which describes an
electromagnetic field in the DNA that is capable of being
projected into water and which contains all the information
of its sequence of bases in memory, and is capable of
reconstructing itself into the identical chemical molecule;
provided the ambient electromagnetic environment in the
water is maintained at a frequency of not less than 7Hz which
is in the same frequency window as Alpha rhythm
brainwaves and the natural Schumann resonance of the Earth.
This paper goes on to discuss new research in optogenetics
where human beings have been able to modify gene
expression with their Alpha rhythm and Mu rhythm
brainwaves in the same frequency window as the Schumann
resonance, simply by adopting different mental states, and
takes note of the fact that these same Alpha and mu rhythms
are the main conduit frequency for Brain Computer
Interfaces (BCIs). The paper presents a general summary of
earlier research relating to psi phenomena resulting from
interference of brainwaves with the Schumann resonance,
and proposes a novel explanation for the recently discovered
“mirror neurons” phenomena where the Mu rhythm
brainwaves emanating from the motor cortex are able to
interfere constructively or destructively with the Schumann
resonance of same frequency and thus bring about mental
telepathic as well as psychokinesis happenings.

Abstract: The meaning and influence of light to biomolecular interactions, and consequently to health, has been analyzed using the Resonant Recognition Model (RRM). The RRM proposes that biological processes/interactions are based on electromagnetic resonances between interacting biomolecules at specific electromagnetic frequencies within the infra-red, visible and ultra-violet frequency ranges, where each interaction can be identified by the certain frequency critical for resonant activation of specific biological activities of proteins and DNA. We found that: (1) the various biological interactions could be grouped according to their resonant frequency into super families of these functions, enabling simpler analyses of these interactions and consequently analyses of influence of electromagnetic frequencies to health; (2) the RRM spectrum of all analyzed biological functions/interactions is the same as the spectrum of the sun light on the Earth, which is in accordance with fact that life is sustained by the sun light; (3) the water is transparent to RRM frequencies, enabling proteins and DNA to interact without loss of energy; (4) the spectrum of some artificial sources of light, as opposed to the sun light, do not cover the whole RRM spectrum, causing concerns for disturbance to some biological functions and consequently we speculate that it can influence health.

Abstract

Background
It has been shown that there are electromagnetic resonances in biological molecules (proteins, DNA and RNA) in the wide range of frequencies including THz, GHz, MHz and KHz. These resonances could be important for biological function of macromolecules, as well as could be used in development of devices like molecular computers. As experimental measurements of macromolecular resonances are timely and costly there is a need for computational methods that can reliably predict these resonances.

We have previously used the Resonant Recognition Model (RRM) to predict electromagnetic resonances in tubulin and microtubules. Consequently, these predictions were confirmed experimentally.

Methods
The RRM is developed by authors and is based on findings that protein, DNA and RNA electromagnetic resonances are related to the free electron energy distribution along the macromolecule.

Results
Here, we applied the Resonant Recognition Model (RRM) to predict possible electromagnetic resonances in telomerase as an example of protein, telomere as an example of DNA and TERT mRNA as an example of RNA macromolecules.

Conclusion
We propose that RRM is a powerful model that can computationally predict protein, DNA and RNA electromagnetic resonances.

Abstract

We use a double nanohole (DNH) optical tweezer with two trapping lasers beating to excite the vibrational modes of single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) fragments in the extremely high frequency range. We find the resonant vibration frequency of a 20 base ssDNA to be 40 GHz. We show that the change in the resonant frequency for different lengths of the DNA strand is in good agreement with one dimensional lattice vibration theory. Thus the DNH tweezer system could distinguish between different lengths of DNA strands with resolution down to a few bases. By varying the base sequence and length, it is possible to adjust the resonance frequency vibration spectrum. The technique shows the potential for use in sequencing applications if we can improve the resolution of the present system to detect changes in resonant frequency for a single base change in a given sequence. The technique is single-molecule and label-free as compared to the existing methods used for DNA characterization like gel electrophoresis.

Abstract
It is believed that non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation (EMR) and low-level hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) may change nonspecific resistance and modify DNA damage caused by ionizing radiation. To check this assumption, the combined effects of extremely high-frequency EMR (EHF EMR) and X-rays on induction of DNA damage in mouse whole blood leukocytes were studied. The cells were exposed to X-rays with or without preliminary treatment with EHF EMR or low-level H2O2. With the use of enhanced chemiluminescence, it was shown for the first time that pulse-modulated EHF EMR (42.2 GHz, incident power density of 0.1 mW/cm2, exposure duration of 20 min, modulation frequency of 1 Hz) induced H2O2 at a concentration of 4.6 ± 0.3 nM L−1 in physiological saline. With the use of an alkaline comet assay, it was found that the exposure of cells to the pulse-modulated EHF EMR, 25 min prior to treatment with X-rays at a dose of 4 Gy reduced the level of ionizing radiation-induced DNA damage. Continuous EHF EMR was inefficient. In turn, it was shown that low-level H2O2 (30–500 nM L−1) protected the cells against X-irradiation. Thus, the mechanisms of radiation protective effect of EHF EMR are connected with the induction of the adaptive response by nanomolar concentrations of reactive oxygen species formed by pulse-modulated EHF EMR.

Abstract

Unlike now widely used traditional methods of treatment of tumors by means of ionizing radiation and the chemotherapy, the method of the use of low intensity electromagnetic fields (EMF) is non-ionizing and non-invasive and hence is completely deprived of any harmful side effects. The present study was undertaken to investigate whether low-intensity EMFs can suppress tumoral cells growth in vivo without cytostatic agents. The course of influence of EMFs started 3 days before transplantation in order to raise activity of the animals’ immune system. On the fourth day animals were injected by sarcoma-37 and daily exposure was continued during 15 days. For study of the effect of irradiation on the secondary structure of DNA, in the experiments DNA isolated from the liver of healthy mice (hDNA) as well as from the tumor sarcoma 37 (tDNA) was used. After 15 sessions of exposure without cytostatic drugs, at animals of the irradiated 0,5 hour was observed an inhibition of tumor growth by 33.5% compared with a control group and a sharp suppression of the level of DNA-methylation in 2.1 times. The tDNA has the high level of methylation (4.7 mol%), which after 0.5 hour daily exposure becomes (2.2 mol%) close to the corresponding value for hDNA (1.9 mol%). Differential melting curves (DMC) of tDNA are shifted relatively DMC of the hDNA to lower temperatures, and in the DMC of tDNA the additional peaks in the 52-60ºC range are appeared, which are absent for DMC of liver hDNA. The obtained results are correlated with the spectrophotometric data. Under the influence of EMFs the values of temperature and interval of melting of tDNA are changed and approach to the corresponding values of hDNA. Presented preliminary results have demonstrated the potential clinical application of low power EMFs for clinical oncology in the treatment of malignancies. The changes of physical-chemical properties of tumoral and healthy DNA under amplitude modulated radiation at 64.5 GHz and possible mechanisms of these changes have been investigated and discussed.

Analysis of the influence of red laser irradiation on the processes of self-assembly of the core histones H2A and H2B was performed using a wedge dehydration method. Image-analysis of facies included their qualitative characteristics and calculation of quantitative parameters with subsequent statistical processing. It was established that linearly polarized red laser light (λ - 660 nm, 1 J/cm2) significantly modified the process of self-assembly of core histone H2B, whereas the structure of the facies of H2A histone changed to a lesser extent. Histones were used in the form of aqueous salt solutions. The effect of red light seems to result from the formation of singlet oxygen by direct laser excitation of molecular oxygen. © (2017) COPYRIGHT Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE). Abstract

Mobile phones and other wireless devices that produce electromagnetic fields (EMF) and pulsed radiofrequency radiation (RFR) are widely documented to cause potentially harmful health impacts that can be detrimental to young people. New epigenetic studies are profiled in this review to account for some neurodevelopmental and neurobehavioral changes due to exposure to wireless technologies. Symptoms of retarded memory, learning, cognition, attention, and behavioral problems have been reported in numerous studies and are similarly manifested in autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, as a result of EMF and RFR exposures where both epigenetic drivers and genetic (DNA) damage are likely contributors. Technology benefits can be realized by adopting wired devices for education to avoid health risk and promote academic achievement.

Abstract
Terahertz (THz) radiation was proposed recently for use in various applications, including medical imaging and security scanners. However, there are concerns regarding the possible biological effects of non-ionising electromagnetic radiation in the THz range on cells. Human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) are extremely sensitive to environmental stimuli, and we therefore utilised this cell model to investigate the non-thermal effects of THz irradiation. We studied DNA damage and transcriptome responses in hESCs exposed to narrow-band THz radiation (2.3 THz) under strict temperature control. The transcription of approximately 1% of genes was subtly increased following THz irradiation. Functional annotation enrichment analysis of differentially expressed genes revealed 15 functional classes, which were mostly related to mitochondria. Terahertz irradiation did not induce the formation of γH2AX foci or structural chromosomal aberrations in hESCs. We did not observe any effect on the mitotic index or morphology of the hESCs following THz exposure.
